Due to the triangle shape, these pyramids are amazingly strong.  Use them to raise the idem your are painting off the greound (table legs etc).  Also usefull when painting cupboard doors as you can do the front and sides at the same time before flipping once dry to do the other side.
So very useful - I can't work without them
