If you are like a lot of people, you will have random pieces of furniture that don’t fit in with each other - this is where upcycling can help you, by enabling you to change the look of tired or outdated furniture and unify random items by painting in a common theme & colour scheme.

If your piece of furniture is well made, and has nice lines, then it is worth keeping!

No need to bring anything - all materials are included in the work shops which run on selected Saturday mornings 9.30 - 12.30

and you too will have the ability to change a sad set of drawers into something stunning and unique -- and most importantly suited to your homes style & colours.

Wow, you are a bundle of knowledge. I really enjoyed the workshop. You have a wealth of information and the ability to make learning lots of fun. Love my photo frame, very proud of my efforts

Thanks Karen.  We all enjoyed your workshop very much.  It was very professionally run, and it's just great having the extensive book you have compiled to refer to.

Or take an old worn out dining set, and change it to something vibrant and striking -- all it takes is a bucket full of knowledge and technique; some great paint; stunning material, and time, vision and energy!
I can help you with the knowledge and technique, and the rest is up to you.

Thanks so much for your knowledge and hospitality.  I thoroughly enjoyed our class and I'm looking forward to new ideas and getting started painting.           Lisa

Thanks for a lovely class yesterday Karen.  I really enjoyed it and certainly learnt a lot.  Looking forward to more.

Hi Karen

I so enjoyed the time with you yesterday - your abundant knowledge and passion for the craft was so infectious I hardly know where to start.  Plus I spent the evening reading the manual while my husband watched sport.  So I fell well armed with practical steps and tips.  Thank you for your generosity.
I can't wait to get started and am planning to start with a sort out of all materials & tools we currently have in the next couple of weeks.  The hardest thing for me will now be deciding the colours.  I will definitely keep in touch and share what Dianne and I get up to.     Liz
